Finally sitting down for more than a second!
I have to admit I’ve been lazy and let my dogs become a little wild when it comes to balls, so today we practiced some patience. Grace’s views about this INSANE request to sit quietly before I throw a ball are pretty clear from her face 😂
Nell has practiced this before so she knows the game, thankfully. Only took me 10min for both to put their bums on the ground and quietly wait!
We’ll build on that of course but it’s a good reminder of how little it sometimes takes to clarify expectations between me and them about what is desirable behaviour.
Of course, they’re barking at me *now* but that’s a whole other story… 🙄
